when i turned sixteen this year, i was at my happiest. this was an immense milestone, as i had overcome suicidal tendencies up to that point, and i was proud to have turned this “sweet” age, aside from all my demons.

Jamie (b. 2003) is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist who uses art to navigate her identity as a student with depression, anxiety and OCD. If she isn’t studying or drawing, she’s probably in the studio dancing, listening to music on repeat, or thinking about video games and snakes.
